but i downloaded the driver, now it will scan pic to my computer but it wont print, it says it cant communicate with my computer, and i have unpluged the printer and turmed it off and it still says it cant communicate with the computer what could be the problem, could it be my ink maybe i have no idea?

When you installed the printer, did you remember to install the driver before you connected the printer?
After installation and connecting the printer, did you restart?
It is connected through USB? If so, did you "safely remove" the previous device before connecting the printer. ("Safely remove" is something like shutdown for USB ports. If you do not follow this procedure, the computer will not recognize the next device.)

delete the printer and do the plug and play find... it may take a few times, but that should work

have you checked your cable from the pc to the printer?
