First of all, why link loneliness (the proper spelling) and depression together. Yes I have felt lonely often but usually not to a point of depression. As for loneliness, I feel it come every now and then but there's nothing I can do for it so I just keep going somehow or other. I do get depressed at times, but usually on a much lesser frequency than loneliness. I live alone and don't have someone to share my heart with. I handle being alone fairly well, though admittedly I often fake myself into being alright by saying "I'm Cool"... when I am not at all. Oh well though... I continue to push on. And with that I pass!

It sounds like you've had a hard life. When I'm feeling low, I always try to focus on my goals in life and even attempt to make new ones. Do you have a degree? You could go back to school if you don't. Get financial aid and don't worry about working for a while. It will be worth it, trust me. Don't drown yourself in your sorrows - I've found out that's the worst thing to do. Stay away from drugs and alcohol. Just try to be happy that you're alive! Do something fun! For example, I'm in college right now and I'm broke. But I've taken a loan out to help pay for my education and bills. With the leftover money, I've decided to spend a month studying abroad in Costa Rica next summer to help me learn Spanish. See? Now I have something to look forward to. I hope things get better for you. You're not alone.

Lately I feel that way quite often. I have a bipolar disorder so it is not uncommon for me to have bouts of depression that last 2 or 3 weeks at a time.

for about four years I could barely get myself out of bed. Then I had a tooth pulled and woke up three days later in a whole new world. Colors were/are brighter and I was ready to do something. Threw my Zoloft in the trash. I haven't been that far down since then. That one rotten tooth must have been infecting my whole body. That was two years ago and I haven't even had a cold since then.
still get sad sometimes but there's usually a reason and that makes it much easier to handle

well, to be honest, never.
i don't think it's possible to be lonley and depressed at the same time.
especially when i don't know the meaning of the word "lonley"
maybe i'm just really silly, i probably feel that way all the time.

Every second of every day. We wouldnt be human if we didnt. Everybody gets depressed, and lonely. Hell you could be at a mlb game and feel lonely. Its all about how you look at yourself.
