The truck is a 1993 Ford F-150 4X4. Its only got 76,000 miles. I have checked fuses and relays and I cant find anything. I got one of those trailer pigtails you plug into your truck and it worked fine but know my running lights in the front and back will not work along with my instrument lights. I unplugged the pigtail and they still dont work. WTF??

There are TWO fuses.
One under the dash left hand side, AND one under the hood on the drivers side fender well distribution box.

ADDED:
RAT396 has a good point too. The switch on the dash isn't all that strong and could very well burned up.

Having a blown fuse or a bulb burned out are the main hardship-loose motives. you apart from might might have a short on your wiring to the tail lights furnishings too - especially in case you latterly put in (or had somebody else set up) a wiring harness for a trailer. hazard is the priority would be extra good fee to restoration than the fee of the fee ticket your husband have been given.

if the fuses are in good shape the fault would be in the light switch check the plug at the switch can be dirty or loose with that many miles can also be a frade wire along the chassie to the tail lights

The turn signals and brake lights are on separate wire and switch from the running lights.
You blew out something in the running lights only.
