If your bf/gf was away for a lengthy period (business trip, sequestered in a high profile court case...etc.) of time, and you became very lonely, and you meet someone who looks exactly like them (same hairdo, same smile, eye color, complexion... same choice of fragrence etc), and they come on to you very very strongly and persistantly. Would you cheat on your mate with this person?

If no, how would you handle the situation?
If yes, why?

Thank you.

No, because no matter what they did to try to look like her, they wouldn't be her with her personality. Just because your significant other is gone for a while doesn't give you a reason to cheat on them unless you just aren't commited to the relationship. I would stay busy and wait for her to come home. She is worth the wait. If a person would cheat on their bf/gf while they are away on business, they are obviously not that important to you.

If you are committed to your partner, then no cheating is allowed. No matter what the other may look like, it is still not your partner. Cheating is cheating! If you get lonely, make friends, go places, shop, etc. If you have unfilled needs, talk to your partner about it before you do anything you may regret.

No, that wouldn't be true love. To keep myself from any (if any) temptation, I'd get a pet and focus my love on that, and call my sweetheart everyday. Someone who's that persistant is just rude and disrespectful, and I would not enjoy his company anyways.

No, I don't care how much of a resemblance they have to each other, I rather wait for the real thing. Say no and walk away.

No matter how similar he looks etc., he is not the same person. It is still cheating
