Get a certified copy of your Marriage License from the Clerk of Courts to provide to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation so that the name may be changed on your drivers' license. [They will send back the copy.] Then also notify the Social Security Administration so that they have a record of the name change.
You can then make the rounds of notifying your bank, as well as other creditors.
Note that you do not have to change your name if you don't want to. All creditors really require is that you be consistent with the name that you use for credit so that there are no creditors defrauded.
When you file your income tax returns, it might be a good idea to file a copy of the Marriage License with the tax return for the first year that you file as a married couple.

I just got married in dec in pa and i went to my represenatives office which was sam smith and they gave me all the forms to get your ssi changed you go to that office with your marriage licence and your drivers license and your old ssi card and they change it as for bank and stuff just show your marriage license but drivers license you need the form to send to the state they will then send you a paper temp one to keep with your old one till the other one expires they dont send you a new camera card

I went to the social security office and filled out a name change form (or in my case added on a name).
Then I went and got my name changed on my liscense.

First you have to go to the social secuity department and change your name, then to DMV, you have to change your name at work, On any and ALL documents you sign your name to. You have to change your tax forms, medical records, insurance papers, credit cards, bank accounts, loans. Anything your miaden name is on you have to change to your married name.

I could be mistaken, but you would go down to either your county courthouse or a license bureu when you get your marriage certifigate and ask for a NAme change application.

if it's done in your mirriage certificate, go to the Social Security Administration office with your certificate to fill out an application and have your name changed, start calling your bank accout, credit card, etc and let them know you changed your name.

You don't have to change your name. After marriage you'll be called Madam or Ms. or Mrs ( husband surname ) follow by your name.
