For part of this project I have to choose two major decisions that Reagan had to make during his presidency, but I don't know which ones to choose. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please don't say to just google it or something, because I've already been looking all over the web, I'm just having a hard time sifting through the information.

I would say the two most formidable decisions he had to make were how to fight communism and dealing with a struggling and relatively weak American economy when he inherited the presidency. When he entered office in January 1981, interest rates were at an all time high trying to curb inflation. There were many ramifications of that policy (inherited from the Carter Administration), but the most noticeable effect was one that choked off the national economy.

You should be able to find ample information on this subject via the web. It has been a long time ago, but I remember it well and those were fairly difficult times that people have forgotten about. Nonetheless, I think both these topics would well be worth exploring.
