It's "political correctness", pure and simple. Let's face it, Catholics haven't been a threat since the Inquisition was abolished. Islam is at war with all Jews and Christians (who they consider a bastardized Jewish sect), because we're all "infidels" according to their interpretation of religious law, and as such, we have to be converted or killed. We ignore that harsh reality at our own peril!

No more so that saying something critical of the president and you're a troop- hating, America bashing, enemy supporting piece of terrorist scum.
Try something different - don't say anything nasty about Islam or Catholicism in general. Stereotyping like that is rarely going to be accurate.

Those two John Edward pundits who attacked the Catholic's church history on a variety of issues and how it relates to today's issues were forced to resign.
Seems like right-wing political correctness run amok.
Just read what Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison said about organized religion and christianity in particular. Just imagine what the right-wing pundits would have said if these founders were alive today and said the same thing.
For the record, I think Islam as practiced in the middle east is pretty backward. I just don't think people should be persecuted and put into internment camps (like right-wing pundit Micheal Savage has suggested) just because of their religion.

And it's not fair...you are right.
But Islam is on the chopping block right now...so we all have to tread lightly. Even though the radicals are the ones who put themselves in the public light.
Go figure...I think it's just political correctness run amok.

That's not true at all.
Ann Coulter, Bill O'reilly and many of those other braindead conservatives trash Islam all of the time and they never get criticized for it.

I'm a Christian, so I'm no fan of Christian-bashing.
But, many people do seem to take Muslim bashing too far as well, as I have seen on Y/A.
