I had sex with my friend on April 20th. I got my period during the first week of April and I haven't gotten it since then. And it is now June. My period usually comes around the last/first week of every month and is hardly ever late. I missed it last month and haven't gotten it yet this month.

When we had sex we used a condom and he pulled out. Is there still a chance that I could've gotten pregnant...maybe after he took the condom off or something? I know it's probably a slim chance but is it still possible? how likely is it that i got pregnant from it?

if i haven't gotten my period in the next two weeks i plan on taking a home test. Should I tell my friend? He still doesn't know anything about this. should i tell him now or wait until i am ready to take the test or after or not at all?

we are both 17 right now and turning 18 this year. we will also both be seniors in high school this fall.

him and i are really good friends and get along great but we are not in a relatio

Take the home test first and find out for sure! If you are pregnant, I've learned the best way to go is with sponanaity. Let him know as soon as you find out. Our feelings feed off of each other, If you are excited by it, then he might feel that. If you are distressed...he will certainly feel that. negative feelings are more trangressional than positive. If you want positive participation from him, then you need to make a positive declaration and feel happy about it! Good Luck!

So you are just having sex with someone that you aren't in love with, have no intention of marrying, and just wanted to have sex with no consequences? Sorry honey, but YES, you could be pregnant. That's why condoms are not 100% guaranteed and neither is birth control. My mom told me to keep an asprin between my knees to prevent pregnancy and it always worked for me.
Take the pregnancy test, and tell him as soon as possible, let him do a little worrying and supporting here. If you are going to have a baby and you two can't be the loving, united parents that this child deserves, you should consider giving him/her up for adoption. There are thousands of loving couples in the world who have not been blessed with any children and would love to care for and raise a little one. But remember next time you decide to make a choice like having sex, there are ALWAYS consequences for your actions, whether they be little or big. The choices you make today will shape your future, and in some cases the future of the next generation as well.

I'd wait until after you test. It could be just the activity that caused the missed period. Maybe you should go on birth control so things are more controlled and no surprises...although you can get pregnant while taking it, it's more protection for you.

I think that you should take the test now! Whenever I my period was late, I always took a test b/c the intensity and scardness of what my mom was going to think almost drove me crazy! Do whatever is best for you

Take the home test first, it could be simply missing your period. Be sure before you say anything.

Hope everything turns out what's best.

Take a pregnancy test. There is a chance you are, but also a really good chance you aren't. You need to stop stressing yourself out about it and don't unnecessarily stress him out about telling him about it before you do a test.

wait till you find out for certain so that he doesnt freak out or get his hopes up for no reason

there is a very slim chance you got pregnant with that method but it's still possible

for one you are too young to be having sex. talk with your mother and get a pregnancy test. i'm sure your parents will help you. but by all means if you are pregnant, that boy needs to know.

I wouldn't tell him until you were sure. He could start freaking out if you told him and it could all be wrong. You not getting your period could be other problems inside your body.

I would wait, don't cause more tension for yourself and him. Just let time tell. Why sleep together if your just friends? Just curious? Best of Luck!
