I have checked all the wiring for cuts or niks and have not found any. My turn signals and running lights all still work the only thing that does not work are my flashers and brake lights. I have changed out the brake light switch and that did not fix it. I also changed the turn signal switch inside the steering column out of another truck and that did not work either need help.

Curiosity, did the turn signal switch from the second truck work before removing and if it did, did you try your turn signal switch in the second truck to see if it was working ?

With the ignition key in on position, is there current feeding through the brake switch wires ? Using test leads, see if you have current feeding from the hot side brake switch wire to the rear stop lights.

Also check the fuse box master harness plug for current on both sides. If not making a good connection, tighten the bolt or use pieces of a paper clip to make longer pin conections.

You'll have to chase down where the power is coming through and where it is not--is there power at the brake switch by the pedal? if not, check the wiring or fuses ahead of that in the circuit. If there's power at the brakelight socket, then check for a bad ground. Bypass wires if you have to check if a circuit is good or not.

There should be a block that bolts on the firewall where your harness goes through. That block should be held in by a 1/4 bolt. Remove that bolt and unplug the block. Clean with contact cleaner the entire plug even the one still attached to firewall. then look for excessive corrosion on the wires and replace as necessary. Myself i Had a 73 same problem.

Try checking the fuses that powers the lights. It could be burnt out or rusted away. All the fuses should be in a box under the hood. It should be labled. If it is the fuse just go to your local hardware store for a new one.
