blueberries love acidic soil
if possible grow near evergreens
if that is not possible, just mulch lightly with pine needles

the sun/shade factor does not really apply since they grow wild in most "if not all" states

Plant it in an area with moderate sunlight. Just let it grow... Water it during dry conditions. When it matures, expect berries every other year. Move babies about 10 feet away if you want more.

My bushes are about 12 feet tall and LOADED with green berries right now... I can't wait!!!
