Finding a high -traffic area is the single most important part. This will give you the most necessary resource people ... Next is having a nice display of foodstuffs, and variety.. and finally, if its also a nice feature to support a charity or have kids do the bake sale. People will have a natural inclination to help out kids... good luck

my softball team had a bake sale at the beginning of the season. We had big portions, cheap prices (nobody wants to pay $2 for a small plate of cookies), whole cakes for $15 (they got to keep the plate) and yeah. That was basically what we did and it went amazingly well. Towards the end of the sale, we lowered prices to get rid of the extra food and scrape up the last of the money! Also, have a variety of food. Lots of colors, if possible. Have chocolate cake, vanilla cake, pumpkin pie, apple pie, m&m cookies, chocolate chip cookies, etc.

How do you bypass by utilising a bake sale? impossible. some words do no longer belong interior the comparable sentence at the same time. cakes, Cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, properly ok all of it. this is for the fundraiser inspite of each and everything. no longer because of the fact i'm a pig.

My "shot-in-the-dark" answer would be: good food, traffic (of people) and times when people are hungry. Maybe 11:30am, 3pm, 5pm.
I'm not a seller, but thinking back on the bake sales I saw or bought from, that's when and where I was and bought.

Have a good product, one that tastes great, organize your goods prior to laying them out have in mind what will sel the fastest and have that product up front. Keep prices reasonable and make sure that you have plenty of change. Good signage, colorful signs make a huge difference. Good Luck

Lots of baked goods and a good variety, and a location where you have plenty of potential customers.

advertising it, and making a variety.
such as simple, sweet and maybe some bursting with flavors.
It will attract more people and you will see which one sells the most.
enjoy.

slip in the "special" brownies for the senior citizens. You'll have more fun than a monkey in a poop throwing contest.
