Why would they rather deny reality than admit they are bad for America?

I tend to be more conservative and I have never denied that terrorism was on the increase. I don't understand your second question. What country are you from?

What a surprise a liberal that believes every liberal lie printed in the liberal newspapers of the country. Granted you listed a couple that could be considered more neutral or even conservative but you mainly listed liberal media and since when did every word in the papers regardless of which ones become the gospel truth. I for one do believe that there are more terrorists in general coming out of the wood work, but I do not believe there are really anymore now than there ever was just those that were not really that active or that had no need to make themselves known are now coming forward as more of their comrades are killed. I say lets get them all to come out of hiding and try and get rid of as many as possible now instead of getting to a point where we think we are done and start to relax and then get attacked again. Either way you should not believe every word you read or hear as there are many lies out there about many things and some are there to help make sure you and me die sooner than we were meant to.

For the past 25 years, AlQaeda has been killing and terrorizing Americans and others all over the globe. If I accept that it is increasing, it would only make me want to step up our efforts to defeat them.
If their tactics of terror and indiscriminate murder are successful, do you really think they'll abandon them - regardless of their numbers?
