We can all have our say, but in the end the government only makes the changes that they see fit to change, it would only take a big movement or rally or upraising for the government to see the peoples point of view, people in the government need to put themselves in the shoes of the average Joe and I would bet they would not last a month on the wages that they would get. We can change ourselves and that what we choose to do and say but to move the government is like trying to move the Grand Canyon!

No, you are responsible for yourself and any other people you bring into the world. Its not fair to hold all Americans responsible for the mistakes of our political leaders. Besides the U.S.A. is mostly controlled by big buisiness not by the will of the people. You see it with immigration, the people have wanted to fix it for a long time and our government does nothing!

In most cases I would have to say yes.But the last eight years just proves the people really have very little voice,no matter who got elected or voted in their hands got tied, everyone is always sprouting off,but the truth is even congress can't get its voted plan in without a veto.On tv mr. president said it was his way or no way now people say the dems just don't do nothing but lie, well how can congress do its job with everything coming out a presidental veto?? It can't,we have another year of this folks.

No. This country has been hijacked by self-serving, corrupt politicians that do what's best for themselves and their party, NOT what is in the best interest of the country.
There is too much money backing the politicians for anyone to make a difference.
Not my fault people vote for them.

Of course we are responisble. If you live in a country where free elections take place and a government is elected then yes. The government is only in power through the support of the people

We will be when the hammer of allah nukes us for being citizens of the transgressor country. I feel that our involvement in the middle east is comepletely wrong and for us (The USA) to impose our views upon another nation completely barbaric. As a nation we are regarded as ill mannered, boorish and a bully. Our current position in the world could not be socially lower.
