Like, I never smile. I DON'T enjoy being recognized. I'm not supercillious and I just like to keep to myself. Not anti-social I just don't like people on my back therefore I don't brag and don't like anyone to brag about me. Make sense? Please give me an answer.

Hmmm... well i respect your personaility of not likeing to brag and others bragging about you... But let me ask you...
What if the newspapers brags about you? What can you do about it? Almost nothing right?
All I can say is that is good to be humble and not talk about your award. But you cannot control others from talking about it... So when people come to you and ask you if you did.. just tell them .... "Yes I did..." and just smile... they will respect you more for not only receving the award but knowing that you are humble but yet good in what you are doing...
Don't forget to smile yah.... which is important as you portray yourself as a friendly person even though you dont like to brag about it...

Well it is a bit antisocial.
My oldest son was a lot like this too. But I think more because he was not particularly happy.
Now he is happy and totally the opposite.
