Are they that stupid?

The only way to rid the world of al Quieda is to form international alliences and Bush REFUSES to do that.

Bush's lack of leadership is the threat to America's security - FACT!

You are dumb. I am a republican and I do not think that it will make them go away. It will be a huge step in the right direction of getting the Iraqi govenment stable enough to control their own country. When has the President refused to make an alliance???

I've never heard a republican say that and I myself don't believe that. Al quieda is all over the world. I don't think you really wanted to ask a question , you just used this as a cowardly chance to bash the president.

Bush and the US have plenty of international alliances, and all the libs do is complain about it. How you think that stops Al Quaida is beyond comprehension. We fight them in Iraq because that is where they have chosen to fight, we probably will never make them completely "go away" but will most certainly lessen their effectiveness and inhibit their influence in the Arab community.

its not the answer that if its secured they will go away. Its the aspect of getting a central location for the government to be safe and start working on stuff themselves, this is just my opinion i hate the whole thing, just what i figure they are trying to do, you have to remember their biz and finance is in that city

The only people who think AlQaeda "will go away" are the delusional liberals. Do you really think they'll abandon their tactics if they're successful? Dream on with your international alliances - these people only have one alliance and it's a demented ideology of hatred and domination.

I don't know any Republicans who think that. In fact this is the 1st time I have seen this nutty idea.

Because they are stupid and don't have a clue whats really happening. The war is a civil war and will not be resolved by U.S. action. The war will continue even after our troops are withdrawn.

Do they really think that? I doubt that. You blame Bush, but would your Kerry have been better? I doubt that too.

Because they are idiots who haven't a clue to how to fight a war in modern times..the old rules no longer apply.

The only way to win a war is to avoid one.
