Cleveland vs. Spurs is a much different matchup than Cleveland vs Pistons.
Tim Duncan has spent his entire career on a "playoff" team. He truly expects to be here BASED on experience.
1 - The Spurs can get out and run (at least more than the Pistons)
2 - Tim Duncan is not a psychopath like Rasheed Wallace
3 - The Spurs will not modify in any way what they have done all season to get to the Finals
4 - Who will guard Ginobli and Parker? If not
significantly "better" combo they are a much
quicker combo than Billups and Hamilton.
This will present a problem for the Cavs since
Hughes is injured.
5 - Cleveland's big men are not ready for Duncan.
6 - "Live by the Jump Shot DIE by the Jump Shot".
NO TEAM has ever relied so heavily on long
distance jump shooting to be a high quality
team like the Spurs and actually WON a seven
game series
7 - The only team in the NBA that could actually
benefit from such a long lay-off are the Spurs.
The 3 day lay-off for the Cavaliers (Sunday
doesn't count -partying). The Spurs will not be
"rusty".
The Cavs' are a good young team. They are not ready for the Spurs. Anyone that thinks the Cavs can have James and Gibson sustain the same way they did against the Pistons is smoking the "stickiest of the icky" with Dave Chappelle.
These are the Spurs, not a good team full of aging big men including a myopic loudmouth that needs a haircut and a shave.
If the Cavs have a chance to win ANY games it is because of LeBron's willingness to get his teammates involved throughout the game. To his credit this ALWAYS gives a good team a chance "to win games". It should not surprise anyone that James threw Donyell Marshall the ball for that last second shot.
1 - That is how LeBron plays facilitator AND scorer
2 - That is the reason the Cavs are succesful
NOW and not going to suck anus like the
Lakers do now... Long live the Cavs!
The Spurs in 4 games.

Cleveland in 6. The Cavs shut down the Spurs just like they did going 2-0 in the regular season against them. While the Spurs are a better team in the playoffs than they are in the regular season the Cavs are a much better team than they were at the beginning of the season or even just a couple of weeks ago.

I look at it this way if Lebron James can score forty plus points a game and there defense be strong enough to keep San Antonio down around seventy to eighty points every game they play them. They have a chance. But just like Kevin Garnet, Labron James doesn't have any scoring help to or that clutch game winning Ora that He needs to win big games like this. San Antonio has too much experience and depth in their team to lose to a team that doesn't have the same to match. I personally think it will be a sweep Spur's but I would love to see Cleveland take it all.

Even though the odds are against Cleveland, i think the Cavs have a great shot at upsetting the Spurs, we've seen it before when Golden State beat Dallas earlier, Dallas the number one team in the league. Same goes here, Spurs have no room for mistake, it is so much pressure to live up to, and since the Cavs are the underdog, they can try to be more risker, play more aggressive against the spur because they have nothing to lose. So i think the Cavs definately have a great shot here, especially since they carry more momentum coming into the finals.

No one gives them a shot because San Antonio has the big 3 plus several solid guys, while Cleveland has Lebron.

Cleveland in six. The Spurs are old and washed up, the cavs have tons of young talent. All you Spurs jockers are gonna feel real stupid when they go down. Then you'll just get on here and blame it on the refs and david stern, just like all the people you've been criticizing for the past 3 weeks or so. What goes around comes around, you'll see.

The same thing was not asked before the Spurs won their first championship because their first finals appearance was against the 8th seed Knicks in 1999. They did win but it was against an 8 seed no one was giving the Knicks a chance to win. Thats in response to spazzz. Yes they have a chance.

i will give cleveland a chance, if Lebron played like what he did against Detroit this series is going to seven, and now spurs have to worry about another guy Daniel Gibson

The Cavs have no chance , The Spurs 3 will tear them apart, Lebron cant do it all by himself , not with this Spurs team , plus the Spurs bench is better than the Cavs remaining starters
