No cannot file suit, but you can have some fun. When she makes a comment about you having to leave work or miss work for your children, just state that is what a good parent does, oh yes that is why I have custody, I care more about them then myself. If you want to pursue it farther you can always ask What do you have a problem with the fact that I have a young totally beautiful new wife whom the kids adore? I see they miss you by the way they run out the door when you arrive. Yes you are one heck of a mom.

Umm, if she's the one who has to come "visit" the kids, then she's the one that should feel like an idiot. You? You are being a Dad. Being with your kids instead of working...that is a noble thing. Mature, responsible,... YOU are doing the right and best thing for your children. SHE sounds pathetic. The next time she "makes fun"...tell her that..."You know 'Sue', you really are one pathetic excuse for a mother." Then, you can tell her to take her visit with the kids outside, where they're playing with their friends...which is exactly where they'd rather be...that proves she's truly a pathetic mother...the kids don't even want to be around her. You should feel sorry for HER---not yourself. Keep up the great job! Good Luck!

If you keep the kids then you have to accept that you cant work aswell ( if they are under school age), the beauty of this your ex wife will not be able to claim any money from you for their upkeep.

I don't think you'd have a leg to stand on in court re sueing her unless she left you with them and stopped you from working.

Sounds like you are well shut of her anyway

Uh, why would you want to do something like that? Why would you take time off work to care for your kids anyway? Single parents work and take care of kids every single day. I hope the judge tosses your case out and makes you pay court costs! How pathetic!

The correct answer is yes, you can sue.

And yes, you will lose and stand before the court as the judge admonishes you for wasting the court's time with such childish behavior.

revenge on somebody you will always have to deal with isn't the way to go. Why not act like having the kids on your time off isn't so bad and it doesn't bother you and don't show her that she bugs you, that will tick her off...knowing that she can't affect you.
