Young Frankenstein was an elegant sledgehammer of a movie...with the scene between Peter Boyle as the monster and an uncredited Gene Hackman as the blind man being the most classic bit of comedy ever produced. Honorable mention to "The Producers" for sheer audacity.
Did you ALSO know, that Mel Brooks produced the Film version of the drama "The Elephant Man", with John Hurt and Anthony Hopkins?

Silent Movie.
The story of a producer trying to get famous actors to be in his new movie. The best part is that the only word spoken in the entire flick was one word spoken by the famous mime Marcel Marceau.
