Divorce means you want to get away from that person not live with them, so why would you buy community property with someone you are about to divorce. This would not be a wise decision and if I were you I would not do it. Good luck

No, if you are getting a divorce you need to put it in your name only. But if I were you I would not buy one until after the divorce. Because the judge could order you to sell it to settle debts between the two of you or award it to your wife if you all have children so think about it seriously.

Goodness, no. What are you thinking? While you are married and continuing to put things in both names, it's part of the divorce settlement. Those things need to be put on hold until all issues are finalized. Don''t complicate an already complicated issue.

as the house will ahve to be either one party buys the other out
or one quit claim deeds the house
or the house goes to forced sale and proceeds divided amoung the 2 parties
