Generally you ovulate 10-14 days before your period and even then there is only a 20% chance of actually concieving. But you can also ovulate early, late, or twice due to stress or other envioronmental factors. So if you're not ovulating(and you can look-up ways to tell) it is safe. But this is not a relieable for of birth control and you could very easily miscalculate and fall pregnant. Especialy since sperm can live for up to five days in th womb before coming in contact with the egg. My suggestion is to use hormonal birth control if you are able to and at th least use condoms every time.

No. Women can get pregnant at any time. Women can ovulate more than once a month and during their periods.

You are most fertile 10-14 days before your cycle starts. That is when you ovulate. But you can get pregnant at any time during your cycle.
