The start is about when they were kids. It isn't cheating, it's the same couple the whole time. They have gotten older and are married. Now it's just living and she misses the excitement that was there as a teenager basically.

It's not about cheating at all...(except maybe on the part of her husband.) It's sort of about the disillusionment of marriage....
