simply put the mixture in water. the sulplur will float since it is less dense. then scoop up the sulphur from the water by using a spatula.

Sulphur is soluble in carbon bisulphide.
Dissolve the sulphur and filter off the copper.
Evaporate off the solvent from the solution to recover the sulphur.

If you have copper metal granules and powdered sulphur, dissolve the sulphur in carbon disulphide (CS2) and filter away from the copper granules.

Melt the sulfur (using steam) and just pour it off..or..think this works..rub a plastic comb..pour the mixture past it and the sulfur particles will be attracted by electrostatic induction..repeat several times to get 100% separation.
