I mean don't you feel as if these rich and young Hollywood stars get a lighter punishment just because? I'm sort of sick of some of these stars thinking they can get away with anything. If you do the crime, you have to do the time......just like us "regular" people.

Precisely BECAUSE she is a celebrity and therefore a role model for young people, I think she should be made an example and given the harshest sentence the law allows.
This would teach her that she has responsibilities that come with the privilege she was born to. It would teach young impressionable people who so admire her (because the rest of us just couldn't possibly care less) what happens when you break the law.

Paris should have at least been made to do the 45 days, not the 3 weeks.
I think Nicole Ritchie should get a harsh punishment because she constantly gets in trouble for driving intoxicated. she's going to kill herself or someone else. she's completely out of control.

Yes. Totally. ake n example out of her. Shes a disgace to society anyways. Ugh. i cant stand her. I am so sick of celebs getting the short end of the stick.....And as for Paris Hilton....Why is she so famous....She didnt do anything...It's because of her that i will never stay at her family owned hotels. (yes, I know I a one person, but it makes me feel better!)

They're already talking about Paris getting time off for good behavior...she hasn't been in jail yet...
we'll see what happens with her DUI she got in Feb 2007, which has not yet come to trial (the reason she's in jail is probation violation from her DUI in 2003...

They always get away with just a slap on the wrist. I fu*king hate them, especially her. I think she should have life in prison for doing absolutely nothing except being an ugly s*ut with a rich family who gives her all the sh*t she wants.

yes i think that she should get a tougher sentence. just because shes a celebrity, doesn't mean that ANYTHING should be easy, soft, and a good road. if someone does bad, they EQUALLY deserve the correct and appropriate sentence, just the same as if someone else were to.

She should serve the same as anyone else who did the same would have to serve. She should not be treated differently just because she is rich and famous.

Definately. She's spoiled and the only reason she is getting this short of a punishment is probably cuz she's rich. Everybody says everybody is equal. Well it doesn't look like it to me.
