I don't think that Lebron will drop 48 points on the Spurs. We can let Lebron average as much as he wants just as long as the rest of the Cavs don't help. Look what happened in the 05 Western Conf Finals against the Suns. Amare averaged 38 PPG but the Suns lost the series 4-1. I expect something a little similar.

I think the question here must be can CAVS stop Duncan, Parker and Manu? 1 against 3? I think after many years there will be a sweep again in the NBA Finals.
Boobie won't be able to do the same again, it was just his night last night, like it was LBJ's night last Thursday.
In my opinion LBJ isn't so consistent as D Wade. D Wade carried the HEAT team on his shoulder last year, can LBJ do the same? LBJ can call D Wade for advice.
But the Finals are where legends are born. I hope you do well LBJ.

Popovitch is not an idiot like Flip Saunders.
Bowen will be all over Lebron, they may not stop him, but they can stop the rest of his team. Spurs have a greater Flopper in Ginobili than Sideshow Bob, and I would love to see how Gooden and that European center play against Duncan.

If they do shut him down, as in force him to take tough shots and prevent him from attacking the rim, he is still going to end up with a near triple double. If his shots aren't falling, he will get his teammates involved and just hope they hit some shots. I think Cleveland's defense is playing at the same level as San Antonio's right now. I also think the Cavs defense was a bigger factor than LeBron's offense. LeBron's would have gotten his points, but if the Cavs D didn't play so well, none of his points would have mattered. Cavs in 6.

They used what's declared as a swarm-protection, it is definitely a protection the place all and sundry collapses on the paint whilst somebody drives in, so all and sundry defended LeBron, and LeBron did no longer see his group-pals, he had to do it on my own. That mixed with LeBron thinking he replaced right into a Small forward, gave the Spurs each and every possibility to quit him. If LeBron could've performed means forward he'd be plenty closer to the rim, and could'VE achieved plenty greater advantageous. the dislike on his group is unfounded, the Cavs have been a stable group, doing the suitable comparable element interior the Finals, they been doing all season(which replaced into stable adequate to get them to the Finals), in elementary terms LeBron had a important drop-off(like he had against the Mavs, with the warmth, so it wasn't his group, it replaced into LeBron). it is all right down to LeBron's place, he struggles as a SF interior the Finals, as a results of fact the Finals have greater D, he's large as a PF interior the Finals. he's an incredible means forward, he's an extremely defendable Small forward.

No, no, and no. He posterized Duncan earlier in the year as they went 2-0 against the Spurs. Being the finals, you know the Spurs will much tougher, but so will LeBron. Slow him down? Maybe. Shut him down? Its not happening.

The Cavs are going to have to work around the Spurs. The Spurs can easily shut down any single player. If enough of the Cavs' players step up, the Spurs will then have to work at it.

they can't shut down lebron but i guess they could slow him down....the spurs are one of the best defensive teams in the league and they have proven that by beating the hottest offensive team in the league, the suns....
bowen would be guarding him in the perimeter and if he drives to the paint, duncan would be there so it will be really hard for lebron to score....
but hey, it's lebron and after his legendary performance against the pistons especially in game five, anything could be possible for a guy like him....

I don't think so, but the referees will definitely need to keep an eye on Bruce Bowen. That dirty player will try to land LeBron on the bench if he gets his way. The referees need to make sure he plays clean, and keeps his feet out from under LeBron when making jump shots.
I am definitely pulling for the Cavs to beat the dirty team known as the Spurs.
PS. No I am not a Suns fan. I just hate dirty play like they have shown, and the lack of respect shown by the rest of the players and coaches for accepting it.
