yes, I've broken a few hearts and it's always because I thought it was for the best at the time. Something just wasn't right in the relationship from my end and I am not one to waste anyone's time, so I break it off and hopefully they still want to remain friends. I'd rather be truthful and hurt you than lie to you and make you think that it's going somewhere when it clearly isn't. It's never easy, and I always walk away feeling a mixture of sadness and relief.......

When I was 19 I did not think it was working out between us and I wanted out. Mike however had other ideas, but I was not that into him! And I told him that......boy was he ever hurt........I felt bad but there was nothing else I could do.....I got married a year later that marriage lasted 20 years. Now at 41 I am single with kids, but I do not regret any of it whats done is done.

Yes and I felt pretty bad about it but I would have felt even worse if I let it go on and then did it.

Yeah, I did. It's was kinda bittersweet, in one case, because i really cared about the person. I another case, I was required, because she was becoming a stalker.
