Sure. Cut the dog in half lengthwise and then in half again. This will make the dog fit for the most part on the bun.

they work better when sliced in half, served with pickles and mustard.
hot dogs are usually sold in packs of 10, and buns are sold in packs of 8, so sometimes putting the dog on regular bread or a hamburger bun is mothered by necessity.
I have also eaten hot dogs naked, but never in front of anyone...I mean, the hot dog was naked...never mind

There is no right or wrong. I like to split the hot dog and grill. The hamburger bun should be toasted for maximum flavor.

OMG how funny you should ask that. I am eating some right now. I'm typing this with one hand as I eat it with the other. I have 2 hot dogs on one hamburger bun to fill up the extra space. I have on it...ketchup,mustard, relish,onions & jalopeno melted cheese. now only if I had some chili to go on it too. oh and some bacon..and some....oh sorry lol. but it's oh so good. :D

Yes. The best way to do it is with two hot dogs. If you cut them in half lengthwise it makes for a satisfying snack that covers the whole bun.

Sure, slice that puppy in half and lay it on the bun..And vise-versa, hamburgers are pretty good on hot dog buns too.....

Um, the hot dog ends would be sticking out, and the middle would have too much bun....
I would just go buy some hotdog buns.

Sure, the only difference is the shape of the bread, just slice the hot dog really thin, put some mustard & onoins on it and eat!!
