They will have to double Duncan. Gibson should be fine against Parker. LeBron will likely get to guard Finley.

No one can match up against Tim Duncan. I would love to see Lebron guard Manu so Manu can tear him up and not just a no but a HELL NO on Gibson matching up against Parker. Did you see Gibson play last year with UT? If you did you would know not to ask a silly question like that.

Cleveland doesn't have a player who can match up with Tim Duncan. They will throw him different looks with Ilgauskas, Gooden, and Varejao. Out of the three, Gooden matches up best with Duncan, having the best combination of size, quickness, and strength. Ilgauskas can bother him with his size, and Varejao can flop him out of his mind.
If Mike Brown wants to conserve LeBron's energy for the offensive end, he'll likely end up guarding Bruce Bowen or Vaughn when he comes off the bench. But if Brown is going to use LeBron to stop somebody it would be Manu Ginobilli. LeBron's got the size advantage and the quickness to stay in front of him.
Gibson can bother Parker with his length and has the speed to keep up with him, but if the Cavs REALLY need to stop Parker, Eric Snow would be their best bet. He might be the best defensive point guard in the NBA, though he can't do anything else but handle on offense.

The cavs need Varejao and Ilgauskas to double up Duncan because they are both 7'0 and 7'2 while Tony parker will be handled by Larry hughes because he has long arms not Gibson....Gibson is still a rookie no matter what......He will be nervous when the time comes

Ilgauskas is an offensive threat, they don't want him in foul trouble. My guess is Gooden and Varejao will take Duncan. Neither of them can guard him.
Lebron will guard Bowen to save himself for offense.
I think Parker is too quick for Gibson.

The cavs do not match up at all from a defensive standpoint. Mark my words and remember this, Tony and Manu will eat the cavs up.
