Why do they call them sloppy Joes when a girl named Sally invented them?

The best sloppy joes are the ones you get in grade school. I am 47 so it is really hard for me to get a good sloppy joe these days. I have been kicked out of so many schools this year.

Because she was obviously sexist and Joe is a generic name for men. The sloppy part, though, is dead on, because those stupid things fall everywhere.

Because maybe when she invited them, she thought about a fat guy name joe, and when he ate it, it was all sloppy...even now, when people eat it, it goes everywhere.

well sloppy duh and joe is a name to sume up men like the song "hit the rode jack" jack is just the name used for any man that would work well in the case. and it souded good just like "sloppy joe" soooo yah
