lets look at a little pattern here in the NBA finals over the past 3 years, shall we? 3 years ago--Lakers heavily favored over Detroit....Detroit wins in 5. 2 years ago, Detroit kills the entire league during the regular season, winning almost 70 games...Detroit loses to San Antonio. Last year, virtually every sports analyst was saying Dallas in 6. Miami ends up springing back from 0-2 to win 4 in a row.
Underdog has won all 3 of the past championships. Why are San Antonio fans so sure of themselves? Doesn't Gregg Popovich tell his players to have a "fearful respect" for the other team? If Tim Duncan can have respect for the opponent, surely the fans can too.

btw, I'm not a Cavs fan, I don't even know who else is on the team besides Lebron. I just think it's irritating when I see a million posts that are all like "Do you stupid people in Cleveland think you have any chance in hell that you could beat us Spurs who are better than anyone else in the world."
also, ya, Spurs have 3 championships. So did the Lakers when they were beat by Detroit.

We are just very excited and hyped up for our team, we love our team to death. Our team is going to the NBA Finals for the fourth time in what? 8 years?! We believe in our team, and are confident that they ARE going to win! Over the past 10 years, the Spurs have the best regular season winning percentage of any team in Basketball, Hockey, Football, and Baseball! They also won 3 NBA championships in that span.
We have a reason to be as proud of our team that we are!
If you don't like us when we are like that, then you have the option just to ignore us and move on. GO SPURS GO!!!!

WOW! That's when you know someone has no real knowledge of basketball, when all they can bring up are so called patterns (a total of 3 Finals) from different teams from different years.
I can say that about the Cavs fans as well. If your not a fan of the team of course it is going to seem like bragging, you don't hear the Cetics fans excited or bragging because they are not in the NBA Finals so there is no need to be excited. It goes both ways lil' guy. Good boy
Oh not to forget the Pistons almost won 70 games in 2006 not 2005 when they lost to the Spurs in the Final, The Spurs had home court that year kid. Nice try though on trying to put false facts to back up the point you were trying to make. So in other words you just put 2 underdog teams that won the Finals - HUGE PATTERN YOU GOT THERE! lol

You don't even know what you're talking about. When Detroit faced the Spurs in 05 they had only won 54 games, Now I'm no math whiz but that's not close to 70, last year they won 64 and that's closer to 70 than 54. Second, San Antonio was the favorite over Detroit in 05. Lastly, we have a reason to be cocky we've won it all 3 times in the past 7 years and this one will make 4 titles in 8 years. What has Cleveland won? That's right, nothing. Pop doesn't need to tell the team to have respect because they automatically do. That's how he's taught them. I do have respect for the Cavs that's why I'm giving them 2 games.
Spurs in 6
That Laker team that lost to Detroit gave up their bench to get Malone and Payton on board. Look at our deep bench. Manu is our 6th man and he's better than any Cavs player.

We are confident, because we have a way better team and thats all that needs to be said. Also I could give a SH!T less about all the cavs fans coming up with the stupid little statistics. Yeah yeah the underdog has one it how many years, yeah whatever. LETS ASK ANOTHER QUESTION, HOW MANY YEARS HAS THE FAVORITE WON THE FINALS?????? Thats right I am sure a lot more than the underdog.

All fans are cocky for their team. Especially if their team is in the finals. That's why they are fans after all. The mindset that really matters is that of both teams. At this point both teams should know better than to tune in to the opinions the media is currently spouting.

Ballerina's have fairly spectacular leg force, however I'd take the Flyers if I used to be watching to dump on a few worrying, flightless birds. Don't you have got a wagon to conclude constructing?

i think every spurs fans have all the right to be cocky cus the cav fans are pretty cocky themselves and if the cav were to win the championship is cus the ref will let them shoot like 100 free throw and i think the reason why miami won last year was cus dallas got lazy and i think tim is a better leader then dirk

Yes. And delusional. They also like to make tons of excuses and they are very defensive. Cavs fans will find out they get very defensive over accusations of their team's dirty coward play and the fact that they're the most hated team in the NBA. They hate facts. Just tell them the ratings of a Spurs playoff series....they will go off!!! They HATE the FACT that everyone finds them boring and dirty.
