you do not have a 2 GHZ processor. middle 2 Duo is purely 2 cores on one die- not 2 a million.seventy 3 Ghz processors. you're purely working a million.seventy 3 Ghz AMD processors are distinctive. the type huge form is the Intel equivalent- i.e., Athlon 4000+ is two.6 Ghz, however the equivalent of a 4 Ghz Intel. Intel Ghz are a similar- a million.seventy 3 Ghz is a million.seventy 3 Ghz -On real of that your VHS to DVD utility is probable not designed to take earnings of twin middle, so so far because it is going to problem your processor will fall in need of the two Ghz requirement

The P4 will be faster if you're running a single thread app because of the advantage in clock speed. If you're running multithreaded and/or multiple programs at the same time, then the core duo is faster.

Core2 Duo is the one. It has better architecture that is designed to do more per clock cycle and at LOWER WATTAGE.
P4 3.0 is just Ghz speed, not processing speed. It is also fast in producing HEAT. 95W vs 65W of C2D. Check it out here. Use the E6400 since E6300 is not in the chart, then just interpolate.

I have to say the core 2 duo is faster.
I upgraded from a P4 3.6GHz to a E6600 (C2D 2.4GHz). The performance boost is incredible to say the least.
