Because the "not-good "ones, have either commitment issues or once they do , they lack the character required to follow through; Hence the "untaken ones", still roam around us with their commitment or loyalty issues.

is a matter of perception. How would you know if a good men is taken or not. The only way you know a person is good is by word of mouth. So, they have to be taken first before it can be determine if they are a good catch or not. By this same logic, then there should be plenty of potential good men out there they just haven't been tested yet.

The opposite is true. Most singles of either gender are low-quality,
but there are more single high-quality men than there are single
high-quality women. That is because there is a biological mechanism
which causes there to be about 5% more men than women. As a
result, the high-quality women typically get taken, and there are a few

LOL! Well I used to think that very same thing... but you know what... now I don't.
It only APPEARS that way because there are lots and lots of men that LOOK good in passing or that you met only a few times.....
It's after you date/marry them when you feel you've been tricked! So I truley believe that the men that appear to be the "good ones" would not be so good once you dated them.

There aren't any good men out there really. Just that if you see one taken you might be more likely to think that he is appealing and knows how to treat a woman, and that their relationship is happy. Then if you dig a bit beneath the surface you learn the truth.

Yoda's tattoo has it essentially correct. There are a lot of good men out there. You call them nerds and you won't date them. :) Maybe they're mostly bald or a little overweight or not skilled socially. But they're there, and you're so busy pretending they don't exist that you don't see they're there and you don't see them for the good men they are.

Women aren't stupid. They snag them up. That leaves the creeps for the rest of us. It is usually the haggy women who get the good men.

I hate when women say that. It's just more proof that you girls want everything you can't have. If those "good" men were single, you wouldn't want them.
