I think that there is a place for it, and a McDonald's is not the place. So yes, often it does bother me.

no it doesn't bother me at all it just something that is natural and normal. i mean it's just the same as bottle feeding really only it's with a breast. would you like to stay home 24/7 just because you your baby is bresting feeding? i know that she could have went to the bathroom and done it but if you really think on it if she did go there where would she sit? most places don't have a place for a woman to breast feed unless she pops it out right then and there.

I always breastfed whenever and wherever my babies needed to eat, but I always had a towel or blanket over things when I was in a public place.
I never took my babies into the bathroom to feed. Have you seen some of those bathrooms?!? I wouldn't even change diapers in those nasty stalls! Would YOU want to eat in there? Why do you think it would be better for a baby to? C'mon now!

No, it doesn't bother me. It's a mother's right to feed her child. This is a natural act. However, I do think that one person's rights end where another person's begin. A woman should be mindful of others and act accordingly. In other words, yes, she should be able feed her baby in public but cover up while doing so. Just my opinion....

Um if my baby was hungry and all she had to eat was breast milk...I would do it in McDonalds. Ick, have you ever seen their bathrooms??? I wouldn't suggest doing it in there. Sorry, a baby has as much right to eat as the rest of us. Just because we are so uptight about something as natural as breastfeeding, doesn't mean it is wrong. I just don't get why people make a big issue out of it. I am sure those boys have seen worse than a woman breastfeeding in public.
EDIT-You know what really bothers me...if that mother let her child scream because it was hungry then everyone would get angry because the baby was screaming. Lighten up...its a NATURAL process and women DO NOT do it for attention!

Would you want to breast feed your child in a public restroom, I think not. I also don't think that you would write about a child that threw up, or had his nose wiped by that parent. These things are all natural occurrences, and I am embarrassed for you that you would make any kind of big deal about it at all. And besides, Mc Donalds is supposed to be a place for children!!

EW!! I understand if your out at a resturant or shopping and its time for a feeding, but no one wants to see that happening in such a open place. Its pretty awkward. I work at a local day spa and salon and I walked up to one of my clients only to find her feeding her baby while walking around looking at products. No matter where you are there is always some place a little more private for that special bonding time.

Nope, doesn't bother me at all. In fact it is the most natural thing for a woman to do with her breast...that IS what they are made for(...despite pubescent boys and like minded men who think they are only for oogling.)
I am curious about what it was exactly that made you SO uncomfortable. The baby was only doing the same thing at McDs that you were...eating.
I'm not tryin' to "bust" on ya....

I don't like it when one of my parents at the daycare wips out her breast to feed her 2 year old daughter while the other kids are around her playing.

Its kind of gross, but its OK, i mean the baby needs to be fed
My friends mom recently had a baby...and was in the school gym and the baby was like bitting her nipples so she covered the baby with a towel and breast fed it and then stepped outside
