i really highly doubt this. what about dogs that go around. huh? dogs bang your leg becuase they want to reproduce or because they're horny? they do it more times than they can give birth. i bet a lot of mammals are this way. it shouldn't be stated as a fact if it's not for sure. i remember seeing this video of a donkey trying to rape this dude.

Yeah, bonobos are the ticket, and basically all other mammals too. At least the males (female cats might not find it enjoyable). So I guess that this claim is just plain wrong and didn't come about scientifically.
I have already heard of similar silly rumours, such as that chimps don't have a sphincter, which is why they have to wear diapers in circuses (they do have a sphincter, and wear diapers because the audience might become uncomfortable at the sight of its humanlike genitals), or that strawberries you can buy in markets are a whole different species than wild ones (they're not).
Star for being doubtful.

Pleasure is the only attraction in sex. Without the element of pleasure it was not possible for any specie to survive. Both human and animals have sex for pleasure. The only difference between these two species is that whenever animals have sex they can not control birth but human can do it now. Human was also helpless in birth control in old times when he didn't know the measures to do so.

Nope, not true, there are lots of other animals who engage in sexual activities for reasons other than reproducing. Although, there is no way to know if they are getting pleasure out of it as we do or if its simply done for social reasons. Some monkeys assert dominance by having sex and there is no way to tell if its for pleasure or not. Dogs go for your leg because they have an overdose of hormones surging through them, not because they really like your leg.

Sad to say, I've actually seen a video of a cat masturbating, so I know humans and dolphins aren't the only animals that do it for pleasure!
