go for a manicure or pedicure & tell them thats what you want. It is where the tips of your nails are white, the rest of the nail natural color, maybe a light pink. Very nice. your nails need to be a bit longer, they can make it work though.

A french manicure is a certain type of manicure where the manicurist paints the tips of your nails white and then puts either white , clear, or pink on the rest of your nail. . Take a look at the following links for some pics

its a manicure where they paint the tips of your nails white and they put this clear pinkish color on the rest of your nail. it is so cute. i always have my nails done. and a french manicure matches anything.

It's where you just get the tips painted white and the rest of the nail is coated with clear or light pink polish. You usually have to have longer nails to do it but they look like this:
