No, but I do think it won't hurt you as much. I think anticipating something that can hurt you will be all the more painful after it happens, versus giving yourself time to enjoy things as they are until you come to that thing which is going to hurt you.

Ignorance is bliss : )

When you were too little to know about gravity, could it still make you fall down and hurt yourself?

When you were too young to know about germs, could they still make you sick?

When you were too niave to know that love could hurt so much, could you suffer a broken heart anyway?

I would much rather deal with the truth and move on than live in ignorance and have it hurt me worse in the end.

I was just recently told something that happened a long time ago and I'd of been better off not knowing !!! The knowing hurts !!!

Great question - I have to admit that I do sometimes think that ignorance is bliss - but if something could hurt me, I think I would rather know about it.

most of the time..
because ignorance is bliss..
and i do believe that I'm blissfull..
knowing things, usually mean knowing bad things. and i just prefer to not know.
