Well, someone will want it.... but I usually will keep shaving off the sides to even the piece....next think I realize, the damn thing is about 1x2".....but I will leave it. That way, no one can say I ate the last piece.

Yes, only if no one else wants it, depending on what kind of pie I like. I would never give up that opportunity.

I throw it away, b/c I think that someone else in my family will want to eat it more than I do. But if its cake...
