budget motel go to one of the extended stays
Motel 6 that is where you will save on rooming.
No extras just a room, shower and parking for your car.
All the buffets are reasonable so what is closest to your hotel should be the best place to get a meal

Sunset Station has a very good reasonably price buffet. Some nights a chef will grill a steak for you individually. I think the price is still less than ten dollars. It also has a Chinese section, an Italian section, and a Mexican section. My favorite buffet. (Though I've hardly eaten at all of them) is The Paris. Often there are long lines and it costs about two and a half times as much --or more--than the Sunset Station. However, it's worth it. Great gourmet food. By the way, some of the other station casinos are like Sunset others are comparatively disappointing. Boulder Station is one of those that is not as good.

Circus circus but its a dump. Tropicana is cheap but old. Vegas & reasonable don't mix. Spend more on the hotel & you'll have a much nicer experience. As for dining. a good buffet for dinner can cost 30 to 40 & a real restaurant 50 to 100 per person. The rio buffett is really good & their rooms aren't bad. Stay out of old town by that I mean fremont street its grungy. Good luck!!!

Okay, not reasonable, but amazing is the Paris buffet brunch on Sundays. You pay around $30 to eat, but you get SOO much to eat that it should be your only stop of the day ! They serve great mimosas and just fabulous food in general.
As far as hotels go, if you like the bright lights of Vegas, I always suggest paying a little bit more for hotel room. I got a great deal on a room at the Stratesphere one year, but lost all my savings in cab rides up and down the strip. (We walked A LOT, but you can't get to too many places when you're that far out). I have stayed at Harrah's before, which is cheaper, but you're still in the middle of the strip.
Have a great time!

The Tropicana always has pretty decent priced rooms. The hotel is average but is on the strip and you cant go wrong for the price. The best buffet that we had when we were there was at Mandalay Bay. I think it was under 20 bucks each.

"Reasonable Rate" in Vegas is two or three times what you would expect.
Coupling the wish for "Best dinner" with "reasonable rate" is a fantasy.
My wife and I had a good dinner today and we spent $60.
Consider that minimum, unless you go to a casino coffee shop.
