There are good and bad on both sides. The republicans lean more towards overall management of the country and businesses. They normally represent the largest geographical area by far and the more educated people.
Democrats lean towards higher taxes for business and more benefits for the poor and special interest groups. Some accuse them of buying votes buy acting like Robin Hood (rob from the rich and give to the poor). Normally, blacks and poor hispanics will support the democratic party.

Democrats are the ones that care about others and the environment.
