I sometimes step on snails, there are a lot in the backyard after it rains, and when I go out in the dark I don't always see them. I hate it more because they give such a sad little crunch than because of the gross factor, although snail & slug is sticky and hard to wash off too. But I hate killing innocent little creatures; if I can help it I'll only kill mosquito's and ticks, and can't kill those by stepping on them.

Like ten min ago i stepped on a roach, BAREFOOT AND IT WAS ALIVE AND KEPT WALKING EVEN THOUGH THE JUICES WERE COMING OUT AND I DON'T THINK I WILL BE ABLE TO SLEEP TONIGHT I'M CRYING.

when I was a kid, I went over my brother's father's house because we were al supposed to be going to Dorney Park the next day. We were looking for some bathing suits in the basement, and when I went down there, I step on the hugest cockroach (or waterbug, whatever) that I have ever seen. I screamed and I wasn't the same since. I'll never forget that crunch noise, and then the obsessive washing of my foot...
That thing was about the size of my damned fist.... wtf?

OMG! This just happened-what are the chances? I was walking from room to room in the bare feet form when I stepped on something that felt like a candy with goo in the middle. Well, I looked back and it was a HUGE nasty, scary, juiced-dead roach! I ran one legged to the bathtub and doused with soap and water for like 5 minutes. Immediately, I looked it up and found this forum! What are the actual percentage estimates that this happens? "What are the chances of stepping on a roach while being barefoot?"

I literally just stepped on one I went in the laundry room for my blanket out the dryer and I saw a roach a little one so I jump over it and then this huge one came and I stepped on it I screamed and ran out then got like 3 disinfectant wipes and wiped both of my feet and then saw my cousin I told him if he can sweep it for me I was so scared he just freaking smirked at me and told me I'm on my own he knows I'm scared of it.then I went in my room and my little sister scared me because she was in the closet so then I went to my cousin again and begged him he finally said okay but I have to wipe up the parts that came out so meanwhile I went to the bathroom and washed my feet he turned off the lights and turned them back on I got scared three times in less than 10 minutes.
That was horrible!The night was good and calm then boom it's time to get scared.Im 14

No but I stepped on a frog once, another frog jumped inside my jumpsuit and I couldn't get it out another time, and my baby sister put a cockroach in her mouth when she was 2 before I could stop her, that was nasty.

yes I stepped on a cockroach, it was in my best frends pool like I was at the shallow end and I stepped on it cuz I ddnt see it I was soooo grossed out! I started rubbing my foot on her it was soo gross!

omg YES and it creeps me out still.. thanks for reminding me!! lol
it was one of those flying cockroaches!! and by accident.
I also stepped on a mouse in the barn!! omg, talk about a girl freaking out. i was about 13 and I think the whole continent heard me screaming. i felt its bones crunch!
oh, just so some of you dont think i do this for fun... i was raised in the country on a farm, so lots and lots of mishaps like this one.
oh, and had a bat get cought in my hair!!!
another thing, we eat crawfish here and my lil niece ATE THE HEAD WITH THE TENTACLES AND EYES STILL ON IT. the sound makes me cringe just thinking about it! lmao

Yes, a black widow. I reached into my purse to pull out my keys and came back out with a black widow on my hand! I accidentally stepped on it while trying to get something to kill it with... I grabbed a shoe and smacked it for about 5 mins to make sure it was dead, and because it scared the pee-pee out of me so I was mad at it.

I stepped on a 7" slug while walking to my mailbox, believe me, MUCH worse.
