Matriarchal is not feminist. It just means that mothers are very important to the family and respected by their children. IT does not limit their strength at all. It is a compliment. A woman who is respected at home will be respected other places. You are inferring that the comment means that there is only one strength and then looking at it with very discriminatory eyes.
