Me and my family go to Orlando every year during the summer for our family vacation, for a month. We rent a beach house and stuff but parents like to eat out EVERYDAY!! so I'll be eating really bad food everyday for the next 30 days lol. Anyways, I'm 5'8/male and weigh 136 lbs right now, if I gain around 10 lbs (146) will I be considered fat or even chubby? or is that still thin?

Honey, at that height and weight I don't think you'll have any problem. If you're really worried about it make an exercise plan.

I have to agree that it depends on your body style. Putting on 10 pounds shouldn't have a big effect. Hey, you're gonna be on the beach, go swimming, surfing, snorkeling, play beach volley ball, etc. You'll burn up all those extra calories.

Another suggestion is to watch what you eat. Even though you'll be eating out all the time, you do have healthy choices. Even McDonalds has good tasting salads and other healthy choices. Be choosy about what you eat. You'll also find that many of your healthier choices are less expensive and your parents may thank you for that.

Most of all, have fun!

5'8 is tall for 146 pounds, let alone what you weigh now. It sounds almost like you are underweight!

But, if you are worried about gaining weight, try to order organic foods (salads, stuff like that) that dont have a lot of additives. Try drinking water instead of pop, etc...

ok. i did my research for you. and according to the BMI charts, you are underweight for your height. Being a 5'8 male weighing 136 lbs, your BMI is 20.7; which means you are 2 lbs down. If you do gain the 10 lbs, then your BMI moves up to 22.2 and you'll be just right for your height.

It depends on your body build. I have a 12 year old that weighs 155 and is 5'3 but he isn't fat or even chubby because he has a very very low body fat. He is mostly muscle from playing sports!

have fun in FL

Eating out doesn't necessarily means you have to buy out too. You can make lots of fresh and healthy sandwiches and pack them into sealed containers.
