there is a city called Vancouver, Washington and the real deal is Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada....one of my favorite city of all time...beautiful place!!

Both. There is a Vancouver in the state of Washington, right on the Washington/Oregon border. And there is a Vancouver in British Columbia, on the mainland, not far from the US border.
