When you see people with bad English on here do you assume that English isn't their first language or that they're stupid?

I don't assume anything! If I understand what someone is trying to say then, I don't care how they say it!

I don't assume anything, you know the old saying??? when you assume you make an @ss out of you and me. It could be they are in a hurry or shorten the words, as long as I can figure out the message I am good to go.

Usually I assume that they don't care enough about grammar to use it correctly on a website that other people see.

i just assume they were typing fast and pressed the wrong key by mistake.I do that sometimes.

not necessarily as they may have a problem in expressing themselves. there are many ways a person may have problems with this situation.
