Yes, indeed. Always tip the pizza delivery person. For a typical order at our House: I give them at least $2 USD plus the odd change from the sale and a lot of times I will give them $3 USD.

Look at gas prices. The delivery guys usually use there own vehicles, and get paid min. wage. They use lots of gas and run up there milage on there car. So yes you should always tip pizza delivery guys.

You tip someone who merely walks your food from the kitchen; don't you think the guy who treks it a couple of miles in the car ought to get a tip? Usually 15 to 20%.

I worked at a pizza place in highschool. TIP THEM! They don't get the delivery charge and most only get minimum wage. It's like a server..they rely on tips.

Yes, unless you want the next pizza you get from them to have "special toppings" lol!! Seriously, I do give them a couple of bucks.

Absolutely! I usually tip at least $3.00 for one pizza delivery, but with gas prices where they are, I think it should probably be more.

I do. Even though it's their job, a tip shows my appreciation for their bringing a meal to my home whether it's in sunshine, nightime, or in inclement weather.

Wrong they do NOT get all the delivery charge, the company is getting half of that for gas for their trucks !
And yes you should tip the delivery driver 15- 20% , and yes you do get better service, faster delivery when you tip well, if you are tipping $1 welcome to flashback 1970...geez cheap !
They use own cars, pay for gas,tires, oil changes and parts, and have to drive thru traffic to get to your door, its appreciation.
