It looks like I will be about 26-28 when I will be getting married. Is this a good age to get married? I think that I will loose a lot if I dont get married earlier. I feel like its a bit late to get married.

That's the perfect age range to get married.

It's not just about how old you are....it also is about what you know about the person you are planning to marry. Have you discussed all the important issues....goals, finances, children, religion? I don't know what you would lose by marrying earlier than 26-28. What you will gain is a few more years of life experience to be able to make a better decision that this is right for you.

26-28 is a good age for marriage. Marrying younger means you are often not emotionally prepared for marriage. Marrying too young causes far more problems than waiting until you are older to get married.

You will lose a lot more if you marry someone at a time that is not right for you... that's why there are so many divorces in this country... who cares how old you are? along as your husband is wonderful and you build a great life together... it's worse to get married young with the wrong person and end up in a divorce a few months later.

Everybody is different and there is no good or bad age to get married. Important is how you feel, ask yourself if you are ready for such a commitment.I am 33 and still single however only now I do really feel I m ready and want it. I dont feel I miss anything at all rather feel opposite I think I am only wiser and my partner is the One who I want to spend est of my life with.Do you feel the same? Then go for it and dont care about number.

The safest and best years for child bearing are when a woman is between 23 and 30 (after that it gets harder to get pregnant and also a first pregnancy is more dangerous. I've also seen statistics that if you wait until after 30 to have your first child you are at a higher risk for breast cancer later). Getting married at 26, though and having your first child before your 30th birthday is just fine.

PERFECT age - a study just came out last week that the average age has gone up - to 26, the highest it's ever been. It's a great age because you have gotten your education, established yourself in your career, and are mature enough to choose a spouse wisely.

It sounds like the perfect age. You won't be missing out or losing out on anything. You will have had a chance to sow your wild oats, live a little, become more mature and have a clearer picture in your head of what you want out of a relationship. Good for you for waiting, it will be worth it when you get there. Good luck.

I think that's a perfectly average age for marriage in many countries, U.S. included. It gives you time to experience things, get a job, go to school, and so on before taking on too many responsibilities at once! Seems like a good age to me, though only you know whether or not you are truly ready for marriage. Good luck!
