The first shop I took it to said the code was in the ignition but don't know what part so I changed evey thing i can think of like the computer, modgel, all three coils, spark plugs and wires, throdle senser, crank senser, can't find any vacum leaks have good fuil presher and changed fuil filter I have to much money in it to give up now!

you would spend that kind of time and money on a 17 year old lumina???? just learn to brake with your left foot, and keep a little gas going with your right foot....

go and find a good mechanic to help you finish the job and re-set your computer in the car and probably change the idle valve --- good luck ------- you may also want to check the egr and oxygen sensor those two are keys with what all you have described....................
