The very fact some government officer is issuing some documents to some people on Sunday at his office without any permission from the government to do so & for this act he is charging these people extra money (BRIBE) it is an offence punishable under section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act1988 & all the people paying him are punishable under section 12 of the said Act for abetment which clearly provides Whoever abets any offence punishable under Section 7 or Section 11 whether or not that offence is committed in consequence of that abetment, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall be not less than six months but which may extend to five years and shall also be liable to fine. In the case of z the very fact this offence of taking bribe was not committed but under this provision of the Act he shall be liable for abetment since he is present on the spot & was standing in line at 10th place when the police raid took place & the 3rd person was giving bribe to the government servant.

Provided he didn't atcually do anthing...and his friends stop writing about it on the internet...keep it on the downlow and you should be fine...if they do arrest him say that you were making sure he was gonna do the bribe thing and if he took the money he was gonna call the cops. Say u didn't want him to get in trouble if you weren't sure. It works most of the time. He couldn't get and aiding and abetting charge, but they might try with conspiracy to commit. good luck
