First off, the reaction might occur in water and not much else. Then there would be the hydrolysis of Cu 2+

CuSO4(aq) + 2H2O ===> CuOH)2(s) (blue or black) + H2SO4

But maybe you have the foresight to make Fehling's solution (add sodium citrate solution) or Benedict's solution (add sodium tartrate solution). Then you would get a "brick-red" precipitate of cuprous oxide.
