You need to let us know the stop code, but based on what youre telling us, its likely that imeem caused a 0x0000008e error.

We need more info. But you can probably get back just by restarting or by booting to last known good, then rolling your system back to yesterday.

I don't know what it means but that very same thing happened to me when I was burning DVDs! Whenever I use certain programs it does it at times like when I run my DVD burning software. I usually just restart the computer when I see that screen. I shut it off manually. It never did anything bad to mine. Some people are probably going to disagree but as long as everything works again when you restart I wouldn't worry.

I assume this is Windows...

If the entire screen switched over to a blue text screen and the only way out is to reboot, that's a blue screen of death.

If it's in a window, it's a very strange pop-up ad or adware.

If that's a joke, try not to visiting that site.

If it's not a joke, try to download and run memtest86 and chkdsk

something, probably your hard drive isn't working properly. Take it in and run a diagnostics check to see what is going on. i have had this happen to me and my hard drive wasn't installed properly so they fixed it.
