Never heard of it before! I can't imagine what it would look like tho. You'd sure have a cold belly in the winter time..hahaha Don't think it would be practical as you would only get use of it while the baby is really small. After that you'd be "stuck" w/it & have an extra roll of skin to worry about buying really large slacks for. I commend you on your ingenious offer or thought of it tho! Would that make you a daddy kangaroo of sorts! :) That's about the most original idea I've ever heard of tho. Kudos on that one, daddy. At least it sounds like you have a good sense of humor which w/make for a happy family. All the best to you all.

You bet! The procedure is called an Idiostomy. It's usually reserved for implantationable devices, but painful years of skin grafting can be performed to produce the desired pouch. People that benefit from this procedure are anyone who doesn't like to use pockets or handbags. A cheaper alternative is one of many baby backpacks, but only your plastic surgeon can recommend what's best for you. Good luck!

LOL....you are a very thoughtful man.....it would be a very helpful thing if you could carry your baby around like that....You may get arrested for indecent exposure, but hey, the thought is there.....lol. If youve got enough money, then any operation is possible....you just have to find a surgeon to do it.

Just sew a large pocket on the front of all of your shirts. It's cheaper than reconstructive surgery and no one would have to look at your business while they are checking out the baby.

That is an excellent idea. Too bad I am not a surgeon and I can't help you out.
